Job Objective

The position holder shall be reporting to the Senior Marketing Officer

Duties and responsibilities

Promoting the University's products or services through outdoor campaigns, activations, and exhibitions. 

Interact with the public to create brand awareness, answer product-related questions, and distribute promotional materials. 

Assisting in planning, setting up, and managing outdoor marketing events and promotional booths. 

Collecting customer contact information and inquiries during campaigns for later follow-up. 

Gathering customer feedback and competitor insights from the field and reporting to the Senior Marketing Officer. 

Ensuring the availability and proper distribution of marketing materials and promotional items during outdoor activities. 

Representing the University professionally and engagingly while in the field. 

Preparing daily or weekly activity reports, including photos, foot traffic data, and engagement summaries. 

Adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines when executing outdoor marketing activities.

Ensuring that safe driving practices are adhered to, including local driving codes and internally agreed standards.

Ensuring vehicle maintenance is done as required and within timelines;

Preparing and submitting vehicle monitoring reports, including records of vehicle operations, maintenance, expenses, and mileage as required;

Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, in good working condition and secure at all times.

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in your detailed job description.

qualification and experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.

At least two (2) years of working experience in a large and reputable organisation.

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Prior experience in field marketing, promotions, or public engagement.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed.
