Job Description
This role focuses on building and managing key strategic partnerships that support the Finserve mobile money platform's growth. This role’s primary responsibility is to establish long-term, mutually beneficial relationships that help expand the platform’s ecosystem, enhance its offerings, and create more value for both parties involved.
Job Responsibilities.
- Identifying and forging strategic partnerships with key external entities
- Negotiating terms and agreements with potential partners to expand the ecosystem (e.g. integrating payment solutions, co-marketing initiatives).
- Managing relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration, and addressing any challenges.
- Ensuring that partnerships align with Finserve’s strategic goals, such as expanding service offerings or accessing new customer bases.
- Find and secure strategic partnerships with key external players.
- Develop a clear partnership strategy that aligns with company goals.
- Lead negotiations, draft partnership agreements, and manage contracts.
- Work with partners to co-develop innovative products or services.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities for new partnership opportunities.
- Leverage partnerships to expand market presence and drive customer adoption.
- Measure the success of partnerships using KPIs and report to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events and engage with external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage partnership risks.
Qualifications
- Experience in product development or co-innovation, particularly in the financial technology space.
- University Degree
- MBA is an added advantage
- 7+ years’ experience
- Ability to identify and build value-driven partnerships.
- Expertise in managing long-term relationships and aligning external stakeholders with the company’s goals.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Deep understanding of the mobile money ecosystem, payment systems, and digital finance.
- Experience in product development or co-innovation, particularly in the financial technology space.
- Knowledge of local and international regulations related to mobile money, financial services, and data protection.
