Job Description
- We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader to lead our Enterprise Business Sales function. In this role, you will spearhead sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across multiple regions and industries. If you have a proven track record in enterprise software sales, expertise in the public sector, and the ability to lead high-performing sales teams, we want to hear from you!
Here’s what you need to succeed:
Experience & Expertise:
- 10-15 years of experience in IT solutions sales globally, with a history of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Enterprise software sales experience, with a strong sales track record
- of selling to enterprises & the public sector in Africa and globally.
- Expertise in RFPs, bidding processes, and procurement regulations.
- Expertise in selling diverse IT solutions such as software products, enterprise solutions, digital platforms, and innovative tech services.
- Experience working with multilateral agencies (e.g., UN, WHO, African Development Bank, ADB) on IT or digital transformation solutions.
- Proven experience collaborating with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) like the World Bank, IFC, or regional development banks to secure projects and funding.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset.
- Master’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Willingness to travel across Africa and internationally.

- A proven leader with experience building and managing high-performing teams to drive global sales efforts.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with a global, cross-cultural mindset.

- Ability to mentor and develop a sales team while also directly managing large, complex sales initiatives.
- Sales Strategy & Innovation:
- Demonstrated success developing creative sales strategies in complex, competitive markets.
- Openness to explore and implement new ideas to drive revenue growth and market expansion across regions and sectors.
- Ability to navigate complex sales processes, including working with stakeholders, DFIs, and public sector clients.
- Deep understanding of global procurement process, funding mechanisms when working with large agencies or DFIs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the development and execution of a global IT solutions sales strategy, driving both short-term wins and long-term sustainable growth.
- Identify, pursue, and close large-scale opportunities globally by developing strong partnerships with key stakeholders across multilateral organizations and DFIs.
- Work closely with technical, marketing, and executive teams to ensure effective product positioning and solution design tailored to client needs.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with local and global entities to expand the company’s network and influence in new markets.
- Develop innovative go-to-market strategies for diverse regions, keeping an eye on emerging trends and opportunities within IT and development sectors.
- Collaborate across regions and sectors, ensuring deals align with company goals while leveraging cross-border and cross-functional resources.
- Manage and mentor a global sales team, driving performance through regular coaching, strategy reviews, and KPIs.
