Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Application Processing:
  • Process credit applications by reviewing submitted documentation and ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Assist with the credit approval and disbursement procedures by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Track application statuses and follow up on pending or missing documentation to ensure timely progression.
  • Credit Risk and Compliance Support:
  • Gather, verify, and organize credit information and documentation, including liaising with credit reference bureaus as needed.
  • Assist in basic risk assessments by preparing preliminary data for further review by senior team members.
  • Ensure that all credit administration activities adhere to regulatory requirements and Heva Fund’s internal policies.
  • Loan Portfolio Monitoring & Collections Management:
  • Actively manage relationships with borrowers to monitor the performance of the loan portfolio.
  • Oversee the collections process, ensuring timely collection of payments and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, including detailed collections reporting, and escalate issues as necessary.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all credit applications and related activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of regular reports on credit operations performance, including application status, disbursement metrics, and loan portfolio performance.
  • Support audits and compliance checks by ensuring that records areup-to-date and readily available.
  • Stakeholder Coordination and Customer Service:
  • Collaborate with internal teams—Finance, Grants, Programmes , Research, Communications—to ensure smooth and efficient credit processing.
  • Provide timely responses to inquiries from clients, partners, and colleagues regarding credit applications, loan performance, and collections.
  • Contribute ta customer-centric approach by ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the credit process.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Investment Analyst or other senior management to support the overall objectives of the Investment Department.

Qualifications Desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce ,Accounting, Business Administration, or a related eld.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit operations, credit administration, or a related role within a nancial institution.
  • Sound understanding of credit policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in active relationship management, loan portfolio monitoring, and collections is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Prociency in using credit management software and standard Oce applications (e.g., MS Oce Suite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to supporting Heva Fund’s mission of sustainable and impactful nance.
