Purpose
The Systems Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that streamline processes and enable seamless communication between various software systems, tools, and platforms used within the construction and engineering domains. The role ensures that data and workflows across the organization are effectively collected, improving operational efficiency and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development and Implementation
- Design, build, and implement integration solutions to connect ERP systems, project management tools, BIM software, and other engineering platforms.
- Develop and maintain APIs, middleware, and data connectors to facilitate real-time data sharing.
System Analysis and Optimization
- Analyze existing systems and workflows to identify gaps and recommend integration strategies.
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot integration issues.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Finance Head, project managers, engineers, and ICT teams to understand the integration needs.
- Serve as a liaison person between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure systems requirements are met.
Data Management and Security
- Ensure the integrity and security of data shared across systems.
- Implement best practices for data governance and compliance.
Testing and Documentation
- Conduct rigorous systems testing to validate integration functionality and performance.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and protocols.
Training and Support
- Provide training and technical support to users on organization’s integrated systems.
- Continually innovate and provides solutions to the Organization’s emerging challenges and updating the existing systems to align with the industry trends and emerging technologies.
Software Development
- Assess the existing systems and devise improvement mechanisms by developing software that offers solutions to existing and future challenges.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or Software development.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in system integration and software development.
- Experience working in construction and engineering industry will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Microsoft Power Automate.
- Familiarity with construction-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, or BIM tools).
- Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data transformation tools.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python and SQL
- Fintech Deployment: Ability to drive innovation and shaping cutting-edge payments solutions.
Key Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data cleaning and visualization using tools such as Python, and SQL to aid decision making.
- Software Development with experience in full-stack development and proficiency in JavaScript, Python and SQL
- Ability to manage multiple integrated projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and performance.
