Job Description
Job Purpose:
This role is critical in driving performance management rigor in all performance management cycle activities, driving compliance and management reporting and analytics on performance management.
Key Accountabilities:
- End to end management of the Banks Performance Management System (PMS).
- Periodic review and implementation of the Performance Management process and guidelines periodically to incorporate changes.
- Continuous review and update performance management process, guidelines, performance tools and technologies then periodically update and incorporate the changes
- Data driven performance insights.
- In corroboration with HRBPs and the business, develop interventions to improve the staff performance and staff productivity
- Consolidate individual performance reports on Quarterly, Annual or on need basis for management information and action.
- Keeping track and advising the management on issues that relate to performance management to ensure that timely appropriate and corrective measures are undertaken.
- Monitor and verify the integrity of the performance data to be reported.
- Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards and metrics for purposes of performance trending and productivity measurements
- Conduct sessions for staff on performance management system to enhance understanding and adherence to system standards. Provide on-going training or refresher courses on the application of the system to ensure efficient utilization of the system.
- Data integrity – troubleshoot data and ensure data integrity is maintained
- Strict adherence to all policies, processes and procedures as per the relevant manuals and comply with all relevant external legislation and regulations regarding Compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
- Post graduate qualification in HR or equivalent.
- The ability to utilize word processing (MS Word), Presentation software (MS PowerPoint), and spreadsheet (MS Excel) applications is necessary.

- Well versed on any rules, laws, regulations related to Human Resource Management.
- Possess problem solving skills and ability to offer solutions to challenges
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability to analyze data
- A solid understanding of performance assessment tools
- Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing internal consulting to line managers and employees on performance related issues.
