Job Description

Responsibilities

 

As a nutritionist you will provide virtual nutritional counseling and support to our diverse patient population. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized nutrition plans, offer dietary advice and promote health eating habits.

Major responsibilities for this role will be:

 

Conduct virtual consultations to assess patients' nutritional needs and goals.

Conduct physical consultations on need-be basis.

Design nutrition plans (both individual and group) for patients with special nutrition needs.

Develop and provide information for educational and marketing materials around nutrition

Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on patients' health status, lifestyle, and preferences.

Provide ongoing support and follow-up to monitor patients' progress and adjust plans as needed.

Educate patients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and meal planning.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Stay updated on the latest nutritional research and guidelines to provide evidence-based recommendations.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

 

Diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Bachelors’ degree preferred.

Registered with KNDI.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in nutritional counseling, preferably in a telehealth setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.

Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and improving patient outcomes.
