Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza penned a lovely message to her husband Murega Baichu on his birthday.

On her Facebook account, Kawira posted lovely photos of her and Baichu.

Two of the photos were from their lovely wedding photos and another one donning cultural clothes.

She professed her love to Baichu and thanked him for the impact he has had on her life.

"You are the reason why my life is full of laughter and joy. You are the man that has made my life the joyful scenario that it is. I look forward to spending more years of love with you.

"Happy birthday my love, Medicine, Handsome, wisdom, king, Highest quality, Romeo Integrity, Power, Ambassador, apostle, sweetheart, property, Commander of Ameru Airwaves, Best, Guitar Man, Murega Baichu Himself. Love you," she wrote.

After Kawira clinched the governor the position on August 2022, she credited her win to her musician husband who she said supported her through the campaign period. 

She took to her social media to shower Baichu with praises for his efforts that saw her eventually clinch the governor's seat. 

"My husband has been my pillar in campaigns. He has attended all my campaigns with his guitar," Kawira said.
