Detectives on Monday arrested three suspects and recovered stolen goods worth over Sh9.5 million.
According to the DCI, the goods had been stolen from a godown in Embakasi.
"The three suspects were arrested hours after the incident in Kasikeu area within Makueni County," DCI said.
They said the suspects fled with the merchandise belonging to a distributor in a lorry.
"The goods included smart speakers worth over Sh6 Million, kitchenware and other goods that had been loaded into a Mitsubishi canter and were headed for the black market."
DCI said the suspects are currently in custody and being processed to answer to charges of robbery with violence.
