Police FC team manager George Maelo says they are working on improving their concentration levels in matches ahead of tomorrow’s fixture against Kariobangi Sharks.
Maelo says they dominated Gor Mahia in their previous fixtures and believed they were the better side but in crucial times of the game they lost concentration leading to the 2-1 defeat.
“They are a very dangerous side that we have to be careful when handling; we were having a good run until the defeat against Gor Mahia a match that we dominated but lacked concentration in some moments where they capitalized and punished us,” he said. “This has to improve against Sharks if we have to get back to the winning ways.”
Police are sixth on the grid with 28 points having played 16 games and with 18 games to the end of the season the team manager believes the title race is far from over and they will be taking on game at a time as the hunt for their first premier league title continues.
“We have many matches to play for and we can’t afford to give up on our ambitions. We have a good technical bench and very quality players who are determined to fight until the end of the season and see where will finish,” stated the former Sofapaka captain.
The league continues on Wednesday having taken a break over the weekend to allow FKF Cup matches to be played.
