Osasuna fans made their feelings clear on Mason Greenwood's return to football with a brutal chant.
Greenwood returned to senior football for the first time in 20 months as a second-half substitute as Getafe beat Osasuna 3-2.
The 21-year-old had not played football since his arrest in January 2022, following allegations surrounding material which was published online.
Greenwood was then charged in October 2022 with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. However, they were dropped in February 2023, with the Crown Prosecution Service saying key witnesses had withdrawn and new material had come to light, meaning there was "no longer a realistic prospect of conviction".
United subsequently underwent s six-month internal investigation into the matter, with the club and Greenwood ultimately agreeing it would be "most appropriate" for him to rebuild his career "away from Old Trafford".
And after a deadline day move to Getafe, Greenwood's introduction against Osasuna was greeted with widespread cheering from the Getafe fans.However, there was reportedly a less positive reaction from a small pocket of Osasuna fans in a corner of the stadium.
According to the Athletic's Guillermo Rai a selection of Getafe fans were chanting "Greenwood, die" upon the one-cap England international's introduction.
While Greenwood didn't net in his first La Liga outing, the youngster's blocked shot led to Getafe's winner, which takes the club into the top half of the table.
In a statement released in August, Greenwood said he had "made mistakes" and took his "share of responsibility", but stressed: "I did not do the things I was accused of."
Moreover, United's statement said that "based on the evidence available to us, we have concluded that the material posted online did not provide a full picture and that Mason did not commit the offences in respect of which he was originally charged".
Getafe's decision to sign Greenwood has been criticised certain quarters in Spain, including a domestic abuse charity. However, Getafe have defended their decision on the grounds that the attacker is no longer subject to a criminal investigation.
