Liverpool fans have made their feelings known after reported transfer target Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall scored a brace for Leicester City against Coventry City.
Dewsbury-Hall has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his midfield ahead of the transfer deadline.
Amid interest from the Premier League giants, the Leicester midfielder started in his side's opening game against Coventry on Sunday.
And he impressed in the middle of the park, bagging a brace in Leicester's 2-1 at the King Power Stadium.
The 24-year-old headed home to level proceedings before netting a stunning left-footed strike into the back of the net. However, despite his stellar outing in the Championship, Liverpool supporters on social media are still NOT convinced by the player.
They reckon he's not the profile the team needs, having already snapped up Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai this summer.
One Twitter user wrote: "Simply not the quality we need in midfield. Problem is, FSG won't spend on better players because they are too expensive, thus we're forced to sign these bang average players to fill gaps in our squad."
A second commented: "Curtis Jones would resemble Prime Gerrard in the EFL too."Another said: "Hopefully this has put his price up by another £10M so we don’t sign him."
Liverpool remain in the market for another midfielder, with the club thought to be keeping tabs on Southampton's Romeo Lavia.
