Jubilee Party Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni has accused President William Ruto of cluelessly running the nation and with no specific direction.
According to Kioni, President Ruto has deceived Kenyans since his campaign promises have barely borne any fruit yet the nation is in dire need of an extrication.
Kioni likened President Ruto's leadership to "riding a wheelbarrow" and that the nation will bare grave repercussions if he steers it in the wrong direction.
"What we have seen them doing is to ride the nation like a wheelbarrow...no direction, no clue, no plan, only God will help us in this country," said Kioni speaking to The Standard on Wednesday.
"You cannot divert the attention of Kenyans. Today we have children who are still at home and there is no hope of them joining schools. We never thought that you can lie with such hype and you have no ability to have the country moving in any direction."
The brazen politician further affirmed that the Azimio la Umoja coalition, which now sits in the opposition, will be firm in censuring the government whenever it goes wrong and keeping it in check.
"As Azimio, William (President Ruto) asked for a robust opposition and we will give him that," he noted.
In the same breath, Kioni noted that the recent Azimio rallies that have so far been staged in two grounds in Nairobi, will not cease and will be held in all conrners of the nation.
He intimated that among the rallies, one has been planned for Kibera in Nairobi and a subsequent one in Machakos.
"Let me assure him that we in Azimio will continue holding rallies what we call people's Baraza across this country. Next weekend we will be in Kibera, the other one in Machakos and in the course of time we will be holding them in during the week."
