However, Romero replied bluntly after this by simply saying 'a llorar a casa' - which means 'go cry at home'.
The next Argentina squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru later this month is yet to be announced - but it might be a frosty reunion between the duo, if selected, if that exchange is anything to go by.
