Hadiya Hossana continued their fine preseason form with a 1-0 win over Shahmene City and Commercial Bank of Ethiopia held Ethiopia Coffee to a 2-2 draw.

Both games at the Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis Ababa as the 17th Addis Ababa city cup second round of group matches took place.

The teams in group one have played two matches each, with Coach Yohannes Sahile's Hadiya Hosasna winning their second consecutive game.

Hadiya Hosanna faced up with newly promoted Shahmene City who gave a good account of themselves.

Ghanian Striker, Richmond Adongo's 43,rd minute goal was the only goal of the match which gave the Tigers the maximum points.

In the second match of the day, Ethiopia Coffee came from behind twice to hold another newly promoted side, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia to a 2-2 draw.

Commercial Bank of Ethiopia Scored the first goal by Binyam Getachew on 25 minutes. The first haif of the match has ended with the lead of CBE.

Biruk Beyene's 49th minute penalty produced and equalizer for Ethiopia Coffee.

Seventeen minutes later, former St George Striker, Addis Gidey restored CBE's lead with the second goal.

However, Ethiopia Coffee equalized with five minutes to the end of the game with their second goal scored by Amanuel Admasu, 2-2 it ended.

The third and the last matches of the group will be played on Saturday. Shahmene City Vs Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and Ethiopia Coffee Vs Hadiya Hosaena.
