Ethiopian football Legend, Getaneh Kebede has signed for 2020/21 BetKing Ethiopia Premier League Champions, Fasil City otherwise known as Fasil Kenema.
Kebede who starred for Wolkite City over the last season finished as the second-best scorer of the season behind St George's erstwhile Togolese Striker, Ismail Ouro-Agoro.
The former Wolkite Striker and Captain has signed a two-year deal with "the Emperors.".
He was initially expected to sign for Seyoum Kebede's Sidama Coffee, but he was swayed by his wish to work with the immediate past Ethiopian national team Coach, Wubetu Abate.
It will be recalled that both Getaneh Kebede and Wubetu Abate were embroiled in contorversies and differences when the latter was national Coach.
It's also rememberd that Getaneh resigned from national team due to these conflicts with Coach Abate.
Getaneh Kebede is arguably the biggest and the most experienced star in the BetKing Ethiopia Premier League.
The striker has previously played for Debub Police, Dedebit, Saint George and Wolkite City in Ethiopian premier league before joining emperors.
He also played on South African League with Bidvest Wits and University of Pretoria in the Premier Soccer League apart from his many caps with the Ethiopian national team.
