Clips of Mason Greenwood training have emerged as his future at Manchester United is reportedly set to be decided ahead of the 23/24 season.
Greenwood has not played for United in 18 months as the club are still deciding on what to do with the 21-year-old.
Back in February, the Crown Prosecution Service dropped Greenwood’s charges of attempted rape, assault and controlling behaviour.
Since then, it has been reported that United are undergoing their own investigation and that an outcome should be reached before the new season starts. With his future still up in the air, Greenwood has been spotted training individually as he looks to build up fitness ahead of the season.
The Englishman was seen taking part in shooting drills in a public facility.
Over the last few weeks, it has been claimed that United could sanction a loan deal for Greenwood, with clubs in Turkey and Italy said to be interested.
During United’s pre-season tour, manager Erik ten Hag was asked about Greenwood’s future.
The Dutchman said: “It’s a club decision. Of course I have said my ideas and opinions but it’s a club decision. We all have to accept that.“I can’t say so much about it. But what I say is I shared my opinion about it so let’s see what’s going to happen and what the decision will be.”
After what was a largely successful first season in charge for Ten Hag, United have strengthened their squad during the summer transfer window.
Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund were all big-money signings as they look to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal again.
The Red Devils rounded off their pre-season fixtures with a 1-1 draw against Spanish La Liga side Athletic Club.
United will start their 23/24 Premier League season next Monday against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
