Humphrey Magui, John Kiema, Antony Micheru, Paul Karanja, and Wanjiru Gituku, the five, have all pleaded not guilty.
The prosecution claimed that on February 21 in the Kilimani area of Nairobi County, they stole urine specimen containers valued at Ksh. 184,000 shillings from the Ministry of Health.
Kiema, Micheru, and Karanja are also charged with handling stolen goods.
The accused denied the charges in front of Milimani chief magistrate Lukas Onyina and were released on Ksh. 100,000 cash bail each.
