Arsenal have already made their stance clear on Emile Smith Rowe's future at the Emirates amid interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Earlier on Monday, it emerged that Chelsea were considering a late move for Smith Rowe as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add another attacking player to his ranks before the transfer deadline slams shut on Friday.
Smith Rowe endured an injury-stricken 2022-23 campaign and has struggled to reclaim his place in the side, with the likes of Kai Havertz and Fabio Vieira seemingly ahead of him in the pecking order.
In turn, he has been rumoured with a move away from north London, with Aston Villa reportedly keen to sign the 23-year-old earlier this summer.However, The Athletic's David Ornstein has already confirmed Arsenal's stance on Smith Rowe, claiming that they have "no intention" of letting him go this summer.
As reported in May, Ornstein stated: "The hope he is will be a key player for England at the Under-21 European Championship later this summer before returning to fitness and form next term."
Smith Rowe did play a key role in England's Under-21 European Championship winning campaign, scoring two goals during the tournament.
However, he is yet to play a single minute for the Gunners this season, with Chelsea eager to poach the midfielder.Speaking back in April, Mikel Arteta insisted Smith Rowe remained a key part of his plans moving forward.
"He's pushing, and in football what you did a year ago, a month ago is not important, it's about what you do now, what you do yesterday and what you do tomorrow," Arteta said.
"The player has to have that mindset and the contribution has to be now to the team has to make us better and to make us win games. He's very close."
