Additional tasks include filing VAT and withholding tax returns and maintaining disconnection and reconnection records.Minimum Qualifications: A Diploma in Finance/Accounts with CPA II or CPA (K), three years of experience in a busy environment, proficiency in accounting software, and strong management, negotiation, and communication skills. Candidates must be computer literate and capable of working under pressure.
2. Customer Relation Assistant II (Grade 6, 1 Post) – Ref: KAWSCO/RCT/COMM
   Responsibilities include generating and processing customer bills, monitoring billing cycles, resolving discrepancies, and supervising meter readers to ensure accurate and timely readings. The role also entails addressing customer queries, managing billing software, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining data integrity while providing regular reports.Minimum Qualifications: A Diploma in Public Relations or a business-related course, three years of relevant experience, and familiarity with billing software. Candidates need prior experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
3. Wastewater Operator II (Grade 7, 2 Posts) – Ref: KAWSCO/RCT/TECH
   This position focuses on operating and maintaining the Sewage Treatment Plant, including screen maintenance, channel degritting, filter rodding, and pond upkeep. Duties also involve monitoring flow rates and electrical performance, unblocking sewer systems, performing minor repairs, and reporting faults to senior operators.Minimum Qualifications: A Certificate in Wastewater or a related field from a recognized TVET institution, one year of experience, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be team players able to work under pressure.
4. Assistant Stores Officer (Grade 7, 1 Post) – Ref: KAWSCO/RCI/PROC
   The role entails managing store administration, ensuring proper storage and cleanliness, inspecting incoming items for quality, and tracking stock levels to prevent overstocking or shortages. The officer will also assist in preparing stock reports and raising requisition orders while minimizing losses from spoilage or theft.Minimum Qualifications: A Certificate in Stores Management, two years of experience, and proficiency in communication, analytical, and negotiation skills. Computer literacy and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
5. ICT Technician III (Grade 7, 1 Post) – Ref: KAWSCO/RCI/ICT
   This position involves providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, training users, and maintaining antivirus software to protect the network. The technician will design preventive maintenance schedules, manage hardware inventories, research IT solutions, and perform daily backups to ensure system reliability.Minimum Qualifications: A Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related ICT field. Professional certifications in design, programming, or networking are advantageous, along with a capacity to handle pressure.
6. Laboratory Technician III (Grade 7, 1 Post) – Ref: KAWSCO/RCI/ICT
   Responsibilities include collecting water samples, conducting chemical, physical, and biological tests to meet WHO and KEBS standards, and preparing detailed quality reports. The technician will maintain and calibrate lab equipment, address customer complaints, and supervise staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Minimum Qualifications: A Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology or Analytical Chemistry, three years of experience in a busy setting, and strong supervisory and report-writing skills. Computer literacy and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
