The International Centre for Reproductive Health Kenya (ICRHK) is a well-established and respected Kenya-based Non-Governmental Organization committed to advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) through evidence-based research and intervention programs. With a strong legacy of working across communities and health systems, ICRHK’s mission is focused on addressing critical public health concerns including HIV and STI prevention and treatment, combating sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), improving maternal and child health, promoting family planning, and enhancing adolescent reproductive health services.
ICRHK’s projects span research, advocacy, and direct interventions aimed at strengthening the health system and ensuring the availability and accessibility of SRH services for all, especially vulnerable and marginalized populations.
To support the implementation of ongoing research projects, ICRHK is seeking dedicated and qualified individuals to fill the following positions in Kilifi, Nairobi, and Mombasa Counties.
Location: Kilifi & Nairobi Counties
Duration: 11 months with 3 months’ probation
Reporting to: HIV/AIDS/STI Technical Lead
The Research Coordinator will serve as a central figure in the operational success of research projects by leading project management, overseeing field operations, and ensuring compliance with ethical standards and project goals. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate data collection, coordination among various stakeholders, and the quality of research outputs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Location: Public health facilities in Kilifi & Nairobi Counties
Duration: 11 months with 3 months’ probation
Reporting to: Research Coordinator
The Research Assistant will be a vital member of the field implementation team responsible for carrying out all research activities in accordance with the study protocol. The role involves interacting with study participants, data collection, and documentation of activities while maintaining the highest standards of ethical research conduct.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Location: Mombasa County
Duration: 11 months with 3 months’ probation
Reporting to: Data Manager
The Data Officer will play an essential role in managing and organizing research data to support data-driven decision-making and ensure the integrity of study records. The individual will assist in the daily operational management of study files, quality control processes, and digital data systems.
