Water Resources Authority is a State Corporation in the Ministry of Water &
Sanitation and Irrigation established pursuant to Section 11 of the Water Act
2016.
The Management of WRA wishes to identify and recruit capable officers in the
following position:-
DRIVER I – WRA GRADE 8 (4 POSITION

Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle;
(ii) Keeping up to date work ticket for assigned vehicle;
(iii) Cleaning of the assigned motor vehicle;
(iv) Submitting regular reports on assigned motor vehicle;
(v) Reporting any mechanical/accident problems; and
(vi) Ensuring proper mechanical working condition of the vehicle.

Required Qualifications
(i) KCSE D (plain) or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
(ii) BCE valid driving license free from any current endorsements;
(iii) First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St.
John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology
(KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
(iv) Proficiency in computer applications; and
(v) Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
2010.

(iii) Negotiation skills.
